Curriculum

ºÚÁÏÍø’s College aims for a high standard of academic achievement and strives for a high Year 12 pass rate. While recognising that each student must accept the ultimate responsibility for academic performance, the College offers a great deal of academic support for all students who require it.

• Academic stimulation is provided for all students of varying levels enrolled at the College.

• Starting at Year 7, students are encouraged to develop effective research skills.

• Today’s need for everyone to be keyboard and computer literate is recognised. Valuable computer skills
teaching starts in Year 7.

• Problem identification, hypothesis, solution, design, modeling, analysis and conclusion are part of
technological education which begins in Year 7.

• Young people are trained to be flexible.

ºÚÁÏÍø's offers an Extra Curriculum Program for all students. There are a variety of activities on offer, with many being held after school or during breaks. 

Information about the activities for 2024 are available through Operoo for parents.

ºÚÁÏÍø's offers a Homework Centre and Individual Subject help sessions for all students. 

The Homework Centre is located in the library and is staffed Monday to Thursday from 3:15pm to 4:30pm and Friday 3:15pm to 4:00pm in a supervisory capacity. The library is then supervised by library staff until 5:00pm Monday to Thursday.

Individual subject help sessions are also available on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons in English, Mathematics and Science. They take place from 3:15pm to 4:30pm in various rooms
